The ATF is completely managed by passionate volunteers.
Without volunteers, the ATF would not exist.
Everyone has a talent or skill which could be put to good use to support The ATF.
Here are some suggestions:
- Nominate for a position on the ATF Executive Committee and help other committee members manage and grow the ATF with your skills and talents.
- Marketing – Share ideas to improve the ATF image, attract new members to the organisation and connect to sponsors.
- Host an ATF Gold Bow Day Event by raising awareness about the importance of being aware of Thyroid Cancer. Hold an event in your workplace or connecting to friends and family.
- Organise a Fundraiser and donate money raised to The ATF to help continue the work of the organisation, which will help raise much needed awareness about Good Thyroid Health Australia wide.
- Promote the ATF to potential Sponsors and Partners who are in your network to help grow the ATF.
- Host an ATF fundraiser and raise awareness of the Importance of Good Thyroid Health through iodine enriched foods and supplementation for pregnant women.
- Would you like to organise an information display in your local shopping centre to help raise awareness?
WHY VOLUNTEER?
The ATF need volunteer members to reach out and support the organisation.
- Nominating for a position on the Executive Committee is personally rewarding, knowing your contribution of time and talents will help other members benefit from the services and support we offer. Your nomination can be received at the ATF Annual General Meeting.
- Do you have talents that can help raise awareness nationally about the organisation and what we have to offer patients, the benefits of good thyroid health and prevention of iodine deficiency?
- Join us and share your skills and talents to help improve patients understanding and awareness of why thyroid disorders should not be ignored or overlooked.
You may have other ideas, so please consider ways you can help, which will be gratefully appreciated by the organisations and our members.
As statistics show there is over 1 million Australians living with an undiagnosed thyroid disorder, we need your help, wherever you are in Australia to help raise awareness in your local area to improve patient outcomes.
The ATF would appreciate your help and support. Please contact us via email and we will get back to you to organise a phone chat and discuss how you can help.
