The 2025 Annual General Meeting (AGM) was held on 14 June 2025.
Please meet the elected ATF 2025 Executive Committees below.
The ATF Executive Committee are all ATF members who hold their roles as volunteers.
The ATF Executive Committee are responsible for all business decisions and the day-to-day management of the ATF. The ATF Executive Committee work together to ensure services offered to members are upheld, regularly reviewed and improved. Reaching out to help thyroid patients and their families and to ensure the ATF continue to support future generations of Australians, is the Executive Committee’s priority.
There are still several vacant Executive Committee Positions available, listed below.
ATF Members who have held membership for one year, can nominate to hold an Executive Committee position that was not filled at the last AGM, as a Permanent Position.
ATF Members who have held membership for less than one year, can nominate to hold an Executive Committee position that was not filled at the last AGM, as a Casual Appointee, until the following AGM.

THE ATF BEGAN IN 1995 – ORIGINAL COMMITTEE |
The ATF was founded in1995 by Gail Ballantyne, who had been diagnosed with thyroid cancer. Together with the support of a group of thyroid patients who were all passionate about improving information and offering support to other thyroid patients and their families, the ATF began.
